Wood-fired, on the plaza
A wood-fired sauna on Marine Lake Plaza, looking out over the lake and the Bristol Channel. There is a cold water outdoor shower on the seafront nearby to rinse off after.
Why come down from the city
Bristol has no shortage of places to sit in a hot room. What it has not got is the sea. The sauna sits on Marine Lake Plaza at the north end of the Weston seafront, wood-fired, looking out over the lake and the Bristol Channel beyond.
The train genuinely is the better option here. Two an hour from Temple Meads, no parking to think about, and the walk along the front from Weston station is a decent way to arrive.
Saunas start at £14. If you find yourself coming down more than once or twice a month, a membership takes up to 50 per cent off every session, which changes the maths on the trip.
Come and sit by the water.
Opening days change with the season, so the booking page and our Google profile are the place to check what is on.
