How much does a sauna session cost?

Prices range from £15 to £20 per session for a drop-in. However, if you are a member of our Sauna Club, sessions are accessible for as low as £5 per session, depending on the location and time.

Private sessions from £99.

Savings of up to 50% also available through sauna multipack purchases, for both communal & private sessions.

Do I need to book in advance?

Drop-ins are available, but we strongly recommend booking in advance because we often get very busy. If you arrive during a peak time without a booking, it is likely you won't be able to sauna. We hate having to tell people that, so please book ahead if you can. You can always check our availability on our booking software right up until the session starts.

How long is a session?

Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes, depending on the location and setup. This should always be displayed on the booking page, but please get in touch if you have any questions.

How hot is the sauna?

We target about 85 to 90°C. However, because we use a live fire in most cases, the temperature can fluctuate between 70 and 100°C at points, as managing that can be challenging.

What do I need to bring?
  • A clean body - have a shower before you get here (trust us, this makes it nicer for everyone).
  • Two towels. One for sitting in the sauna, one for drying off afterwards.
  • Swimwear to wear in the sauna (we’d suggest coming wearing this or with it under your clothes to get into the sauna faster). Don’t wear anything with metal fasteners as this will heat up in the extreme heat of the sauna and can cause scalding or burns.
  • Footwear (water/beach shoes are best) for when you’re outside the sauna.
  • Plenty of water (we recommend at least one litre per person).
  • A change of clothes + a waterproof bag for your wet items.
Who can come to the sauna?

We welcome anyone, resident or tourist, who can use the sauna safely and respectfully! Please read our guest guidance for more information on what that means. We do need to stress two things:

  1. Using the sauna and undergoing contrast therapy is done at your own risk. If you have any medical conditions or any uncertainty about whether this is safe for you then please talk to your doctor before coming.
  2. Under 16s can only use the sauna in a private session with a designated, responsible adult who will be with them at all times.
Can I walk-in and sauna?

If we have space and are open, you will be very welcome! You'll just need to quickly fill out our terms and conditions form. We would always recommend booking to avoid being turned away though as we can be quite popular!

Do you have parking?

Check your specific location. You'll see if we have parking. We generally have either free parking available for guests or nearby paid street parking, but it depends on the site.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Refunds or free rescheduling to another available session are provided if you give us at least 72 hours notice. Refunds will be issued minus payment processor fees (1.5-3% depending on order value) as our payment processor doesn’t refund these so otherwise we lose money on every refund, full value sauna credit is also available as an alternative.

After 72 hours, we cannot offer refunds or to reschedule appointments unless we are able to rebook your sessions.

Members enjoy a more flexible cancellation policy - just one of the perks of our membership.

No shows are always charged full price.

Private booking cancellations require 5 days (120 hours) notice for a full refund or rescheduling as they are more difficult for us to rebook.

As events involve a third-party coming to the site to run a specific activity, such as a sauna ritual, all ticket sales for these are final and cannot be rescheduled or refunded (unless we are able to rebook the tickets - which we will always try our best to do).

Do you sell refreshments?

Normally yes!

We typically have Kvass, organic kombuchas in a variety of refreshing flavours, and organic wellness shots for sale. Although at some sites we’re not able to offer refreshments, this is usually because someone else right next to us has them so you shouldn’t miss out! Check your specific location page for live information.

What should I wear?

Clean swimwear (we’re afraid neither outside clothes nor nudity are allowed).

Do you have showers?

Check your specific location page for live information, as it depends on the site.

We don’t have a shower or toilet at the sauna, but there is a toilet block and a shower available at the main Haldon site.

The River Dart site does have a cold water shower fed by the River!

Weston already has a cold water shower available for beach users!

Can I swim during my sauna?

Not at Haldon as there’s no river access there!

Our River Dart site is not surprisingly next to the River Dart! While the Weston Marine Lake is, you guessed it, right next to the Marine Lake! Whether guests choose to enter and/or swim in these bodies of open water, which is not part of a sauna session, is entirely at their discretion and own risk. We have cold water exposure by the sauna so you can come for a sauna and get the full experience without accessing the open water. Check your specific location page for live information.
