Free on site
Free parking at the sauna for guests, but space is limited. Sessions have a 15-minute changeover. You're welcome to finish your tea and enjoy the fire pit in the first ten minutes; after that we need you out so the next guests can enjoy it.
What to expect
A secluded spot, fully off-grid. No toilet or shower at the sauna itself, but both are available at the Haldon visitor hub a short drive or ten-minute walk away. There's no free drinking water on site either, though we have electrolytes to add to your water bottle and a free cup of From Trees tea for every guest. Come changed and ready to go.
Wood-fired heat and cold plunge
A traditional wood-fired sauna built by Baltic experts, run between 70 and 100 degrees (we target 90, but it's a live fire), with several cold plunges for the hot-cold contrast and a fire pit outside for between rounds.
Haldon Forest
In Haldon Forest Park, one of Forestry England's flagship sites. Ancient woodland, trails, and on a clear day an open view across Dartmoor. The kind of place that feels good to be in.
Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay
Around 30 minutes from Totnes, Dartington, and Teignmouth. Easy to reach from most of South and East Devon.
